About Nicolás Duarte

Valiu Consulting was founded by Nicolás Duarte, a Product Marketing leader and current CMO of MaiaHR with more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection of brand strategy, communication, and commercial performance across B2B, B2C, and B2G.

Before focusing fully on product marketing, Nicolás built his career inside global agencies such as Sancho BBDO, Ogilvy, and Leo Burnett, working with major brands including PepsiCo, Burger King, and Bancolombia.

In recent years, his work has centered on helping companies turn complex products into clearer positioning, stronger messaging, and sharper go-to-market strategies. At MaiaHR, that has meant rethinking how the company articulates value, simplifying how the product is presented, and building go-to-market foundations that make the story easier to understand and easier to sell.

He is at his best when turning complexity into messaging that sales teams can confidently use in real conversations—the kind that helps prospects quickly understand not just what a product does, but why it matters.
